This is a most unusual and intricately crafted antique vintage piece.
It is a Fabulous vintage articulated fish bottle opener largely made from abalone shell.
Articulated scale segments are built on a brass or copper frame and can stand on it's own tail.
All scales are carved pieces of Abalone Shell and fixed with brass or copper nails
Measures 7 1/2 inches long
Fishes mouth is heavy weighted brass to pop the cap off a bottle.
It is in very good condition.
This piece makes a great display piece as well as being the coolest bottle opener around!
