Wonderful whimsical designs: a flower seller and a fruit merchant at the market, by Turi Gramstad Oliver. Each is marked "turi-design Market Made in FF norway.
Turid "Turi" Oliver was born in Sandbes Norway in January 1938. She studied at The Norwegian College of Applied Arts in Oslo from 1955 to 1958. Whilst studying she worked in the workshop of Kari Nyquist . She Began her work at Figgjo in 1960 and during the next twenty years of her time there she created several designs including the delightful Figgjo Lotte series, the Figgjo Market range, Tor Viking and many other figurative and floral designs.
This set includes 4 Cups and Saucers
Really wonderful shape to these cups and the best of Scandinavian Design.
Excellent Condition. No Chips Cracks or Crazing.
