Fabulous Art Deco Snider Figural Mantle Clock
This is a Unique Gorgeous 8 day clock produced by the Snider Clock Corp out of Toronto Canada in the 1950's.
Gorgeous Mahagony Wood Coloration and Brass Nude Figure Holds the Clock aloft. Clock face has a beautiful number font and is marked Snider.
In my research, I've found another of this very same battery operated clock in the Canadian Clock Museum in Deep River Ontario and they have referred to it as a Harry Snider Golden Goddess mantel clock so I guess I'll run with that.
This clock is in really nice vintage condition with no major issues to the figure, a relatively spotless oval wooden base and clock frame and a working clock. Shows somw minor wear but really shows beautifully.
It stands about 13 1/2 inches tall with an 11 inch base and roughly 3 3/4 inches deep. The clock face measures 4 1/2 inches across.
This is a unique and gorgeous piece. A real Showstopper and Conversation Piece!
