This is a lovely ribbed cream pottery teapot made by Gibsons c.1950 with gilded spout, handle, lid top and banding...ribbed pattern to the pot body, lid edge and base.
Comes with Cream and Open Sugar Bowl in the same pattern but different coloration.
I will consider separating the pot from the cream and sugar if you prefer but I like an eclectic set myself. These are from the same pattern but different colorations - The teapot being green and the cream and sugar yellow.
In excellent condition
Backstamp as shown with a crown and 'GIBSONS' beneath in side a banner 'Staffordshire England' with the gilders mark and pattern number 'W793' (also impressed 'ENGLAND' across the middle of the base)
Measuring 20cm (8") from the handle edge to the tip of the spout and standing 16cm (6.25") tall to the handle top - nearly 11cm (4.25") base diameter and just over 10cm (nearly 4.25") top diameter
